    Predictions for 2018?

Will the DA expand in MA? Another club? Another age group?

Can waivers shift the balance of power?

    Does the ECNL become viable?

    Will NPL suffer yet again?

Will high school become more relevant?

    Mergers?

Talking soccer will still be a cesspool of half-truths permeated by thinly veiled club propaganda.

        See above.

Will high school become more relevant?
Not for recruiting, no, but for life experiences its actually the most relevant for 98%

will be interesting to see what happens with Stars 05 and DA, ECNL, NPL. They’re very strong at that age.

No new clubs yet, but single-year age groups U13-U17 is next (proving US Soccer is full of **** as usual).

                  What power? LOL

"Become viable?" When was it ever not? Just ask any college coach.

It's best days are behind it.

                  Unfortunately no, just the opposite.

Just consolidation of the weak, roll into another club or disappear are their only options.

In her 3rd year at Duke BTDT's kid may actually get to play, unless of course that pre-law track proves more challenging than he figured. Guess no one told him there is a massive overpopulation of lawyers and grads outside the top 4-5 law schools are screwed.

I predict a continuation of the trend of players voluntarily leaving the Revs for better opportunities.

Nothing will truly improve without the clubs moving to 4-5 practices per week and/or residence programs. The problem with the latter is that, unless fully funded, it will cost money, which will next bring on years of racism.....according to Talking Soccer and the American Liberal.
