I don't have a girl, so I don't give a crap about girls' soccer. Probably get the same response from everyone else in the world, other than those who have a soccer playing girl.

Ratings don't lie, and facts are facts. Americans care alot more for girls soccer than boys.
Thats because we like Winners more than losers (like your soccer playing son)

Like women's Olympic Gymnastics, everyone will tune in once every 4 years for the finals, then go back to sleep.

It's not hard to win when the rest of the world doesn't play

That's a terrible stat to use. 90% of those viewers probably haven't watched a soccer game since, let alone a women's game.

Try comparing attendance and tv rating for meaningless midseason mls games vs similar women's league games

Rating are what they are. How many people only watch the super bowl?

Women’s soccer is to the large international soccer clubs what the recently announced MLB deal with China is. It’s an untapped market and a pathway for future profits. It’s why all of the big clubs are pouring money into into the women’s game and it is sky rocketing in popularity over seas. The American women are by and large still considered the best players in the world and we are a major source of players for that expansion.

Nah, there are rules being made and pressure exerted like here. Trying to force a noodle uphill. Sure it is great and some girls will enjoy playing. It will never get even remotely close as a professional sport to the men's game.

Professional Female golfers and tennis players can't beat best HS boys, yet they do fine.
