    Asian women teams

I think they are boys. Does anyone gender check them! God knows they can make the birth certificate say whatever they want and I see a bunch of fast little boys running around.

Totally bored and just watched our U20s get manhandled by Korea. Figuratively and literally.

Watched the recording last night too. It was a thorough beat down by Korea. Saw three of our girls suffer concussions. That elbow to the head of Pugh was flagrant - no call. It did cross my mind several times that some of the Korean players not only looked like boys (especially since every single player had that weird haircut) but they actually carried themselves and ran like boys. Odd.....

They're not boys. They just train harder. Before you get on my case that "America" trains hard.....YES they do. But its only a matter of time before other countries catch the U.S. in women's soccer.

We have been so dominant because up until recently, women's soccer was laughed at/shunned in other countries. Still is in most countries. Once France, Brasil, Italy, Germany, really start caring and investing in the women's game, it will be lights out for the U.S.. We will still keep up because we have had a massive head start. And girls/women are very passionate about the game. But the development model for soccer is better in other countries; i.e.: every other men's soccer team.

Our womens/girls development has worked up to now. I suspect in 10-15 years, America will still be in the top 5 for Women's soccer, but no longer the perennial favorite.

If you had to go back to North Korea after losing to the U.S. you would literally play like your life or the life of somebody you love depended upon victory, because it very well might.

So if a boy in North Korea claimed that he "identified" as a girl, do you think they would let him play on the girls' team?

                That's funny! But . . . . possibly true so . . . . it's actually kind of sad.

If a country is motivated to do something they can make it happen. Look at what Iceland has done on the men's side with a tiny population. Many other much smaller countries with more limited resources kick our behinds. Of all the upcoming women's programs nipping at our heels (and there are several) I'm curious as to what their training program is like.
Are they all residency programs or do they simply train more often than ours? then like you said the development model is better in other countries. We have DA lol...

So true. Nothing motivates like the fear of punishment by beatings, torture or death.

Also, I'm sure North Korea is not above using some "strengthening" hormones for their growing female athlete.

Plus, those athletes most likely spend 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the age of 5, on soccer related training. No need for an education or any other life skills in that country.
