it is a joke you can get to WC playing those teams,
CONCACAF should have only 2 spots in WC no third place option and in the future only one spot
give the third spot to Europe after all corruption of concacaf is cleared

Every sport has its problems, they have nothing to do with that and EUROPE needs another spot
but to have a group like the US play is a joke
the US will never be able to compete playing with TT, Guatemala, some other island, ...

Combine the Americas ( N & S) and have top 8 go to World Cup.. Problem solved...If you think it's too much travel, isn't Australia now in the Asian group?

Your a total idiot. Concacaf is much stronger than you give it credit for. Europe is vastly overrated. I guarantee that we would have 3 or 4 qualify with ease if you put them in the European qualifying pool. Didn't we have 3 teams at this past World cup make it to the round of 16. As MLS becomes one of the top leagues in the world, which is inevitable, Concacaf countries are only going to get stronger. If anything, you will see a push for 4 guaranteed spots and 5th team in a playoff. In 20 years, we will be pushing for 5 spots, with 6th in the playoff. Book it Dano!!!

Typical Euro snob/idiot let's give another spot to another average European team. Do you not understand that they want the all mighty north American dollar. They will always want the USA and Mexico in the World Cup. THe fans travel well and spend a ton of money.

Mexico is #14 and Costa Rica is #21 in World Rankings. USA is #26. Thirty one teams will qualify (Russia as the host is 32). So if they did it by world rankings, these three from CONCACAF would be in. Why are they not deserving? Europe and South America definitely have better teams as a whole but three from CONCACAF is not a stretch.

MLS is a joke.....Ever try watching an MLS game after watching a EPL, La Liga or Bundesliga game....It's a junior high game v a college game

20 years from now , the World Cup will have 80 teams in it and almost everyone nation is included...Book that one Dano!!!

First 2 games not easy at all , I see losing both games and still make it . If USA and Mexico were in conmebol no way that they will have a chance so be happy we r in concacaf

Your crazy, the only two teams that the US, Mexico and Costa Rica could not compete with right now is Chile and Argentina. Not worried about any other teams in Comnebol. Would it be more competitive than Concacaf, on the whole, yes, but the other teams in Comnebol, would not want to face us those three teams.

the US is playing nations or islands that don't even have a pro league
I prefer to European clubs then TT, panama, costa rica or us in the world cup
