I mean come on! No licenses, totally partial to his daughter who isn't at level, all because he played soccer in college in the 90's ? City, you are better than this ... If he wants to coach his daughter, who is not of P1 caliper, let him coach p2 ... This is such a joke and should not be happening at this club, age group, or skill level.

Options
1) walk
2) bit** to the club and try and get another coach
3) get all the parents together to do #2 (more strength in numbers)
4) accept it, try and be open minded and make the best of it for the year
having a high licensure is no guarantee of a good coach - being able to communicate/teach/connect with kids is also key

I expect a lot of clubs to still have daddy coaches but not OC, they don't have a policy against that like most clubs? Shocker!!

Ideally a coach shouldn't stay with a team more than two years either

Obviously there is nothing wrong if a coach has a kid that plays.
That's no what is being discussed. A daddy coach is a father coaching a team with their kid in that said team.
There should be no organized club allowing this at a higher level than rec. especially not at an ECNL level, that's is complete bs.
