GPS - Simply the best club in New England

We have been with GPS for over 4 years and could not be happier. Competitive team, NPL league, strong tournaments, 2 great coaches, National level opportunities. Sorry to all you jackwads that can't handle the clubs success.

Tuition is the same across all the top clubs, we have debated that a million times, always to the same conclusion!

I love GPS because my daughter was finally able to make a club team!

Located in my town, nobody within 45 minutes that is near the quality. Several friends play with her that goes to her school. Coaches are excellent. Parents are generally OK. Good facilities.

Your mileage may vary. Lots of great programs out there, lots of notso great. Some cost more, some less. Choose one that fits for you and your family, and be happy about it. Leave it at that. Life's too short to spend your days trying to bring others down.

Walmart of club soccer-a team for absolutely everyone, and who cares? Some things great quality others not so much. I shop at Walmart just like many others. If you are on a team that doesn't have a "coach of the day" or "coach of the week" that is even better.

Strange analogy. I get the size comparison, but Wal-Mart known for being extremely cheap, yet we here on this board endlessly how they cost so much....

"National level opportunities..." Do tell. I'm trying to remember the last time GPS produced a national level player or team. Oh, that's right... Never.

Or, often? Just came back from National Cups, Surf Cup, all playing against teams across the Nation, i.e. National.

As for National level player, well, those are hard to come by and they haven't crossed that threshold, yet.

was hearing rumors back in 2015 that GPS was kicking the tires in southeastern CT, they abandon that expansion?

We just chose to move one of my son's over to GPS, but really, you have to open up with an insult calling others jackwads? We almost didn't move over because of idiots like you. Every club has it's pros and cons. Some of the GPS success is simply because it has the numbers. Don't be such an arrogant ass.

GPS is the most mocked club on here. I commend the poster for sticking up for the club.

Slam those who can't go a day, or a thread, without interjecting a comment (relevant or not) about GPS; not someone who decided to push back.

Any team can travel around the country to face teams from outside our region. All that means is that they can find tournaments that will accept them and the parents are willing to spend the money on the travel.

I thought the poster was talking about playing and beating the best teams in the country. You know, the kind with trophies at stake, dozens of college coaches lining the sidelines, etc. My bad.
