District 5 select program summer league

Rules say " All players must tryout in their Age Group. Any exceptions must be approved by the District Administrator".
However U15 girls coach "Lisa Roy" is parent of U14 player.
    New revamped system this year.

if your doing it for touches then it's worth it if you have nothing else to do on weekends during the summer. It's a ton of politics (a step up from town but close)...and the talent is hit or miss -

Sounds like someone has an agenda...

Maybe they were struggling to find a coach for the age group in question, not everyone is willing to give up the majority of their weekends in the summer to coach for free!

And of course, indirectly, the kid as well.

            Stay classy, district 5.

Info posted in mass youth soccer web site.
Roy is also listed as U12 girls coach and guess what other kid is only U11 age.

Why do you care? Just don't have your kids play Districts this summer. Our son did it a couple years ago and it was fun, but won't anymore cause of losing Saturdays to play soccer on hot turf anymore and it's not like the competition is crazy intense. Didn't make his game better. just something fun to do with friends. I didn't love it cause we spent all day in Lancaster and weren't at the beach.

So what? It's summer soccer. Who gives a crap? Time for the kids to have fun. Use your energy to complain about something that really matters.

                        How about play your age.
Ever think I will take away at least 2 spots from kids of proper age.

Turn that frown upside down because everyone gets a t shirt in DSP.
And shhhhhh, but the big secret is: No one gets cut. They really do try to give a spot to everyone.
So your little princess is probably assured to play DSP U little 11.
And then everyone can see your can team togetherness smile on the sideline and know who you are

Nope. Never heard of a kid not getting a spot. Don't worry about it. Just summer soccer.
Sign up and coach if you don't like it and manage your own team. Stop complaining.
