Tom Power the DOC of FC Florida said he and the FCF board were very excited to be working with the clubs in PSL to form this new opportunity for the soccer players in PSL and surrounding areas.

This collaboration affords us the ability to provide all the necessary tools and resources to help EVERY player succeed, and with such an emphasis being placed on player developement, the sky is the limit for these eager young athletes!"
    -Victor Nunes

    Christina Shaw

The board of directors at Mako Soccer are extremely excited about the plethora of opportunities that this collaboration will bring to all young athletes in the area. Working together will allow all three organizations to combine resources and truly emphasize the development of the athletes as well as provide a clear and precise path to assist them in achieving whatever their goals may be in the sport."

TP still is DOC of FC Florida. The merger allow FC Florida to extend the FC Florida brand and create FC Treasure Coast. With Mako and PSL Soccer Club this allows the clubs the opportunity to allow their players further development that wasnt present before. The mergers or partnership FC Florida has creates shows grow in youth soccer with more still to come. Well done.

This poster has no clue what they are talking about. No one is kicked out and Tom Powers is still the DOC.

That's what you think! John Textor and the FC board has said bye bye to Tom. Tom becomes the DOC of Mako/PSL with a few younger teams that John Textor doesn't want from old FC.

This shows you that FC is falling apart-they have tryouts listed at parks in Stuart and WPB, but are "merging" with Mako/PSL???

OKAY people, stop drinking from the water cooler!

Good luck to JT and those teams at the FC Florida Preparatory Academy but that doesn't change anything and JT knows it go ask him yourself.

Fc Florida is very happy about this new news and excited for tryouts and new opportunities to start this upcoming season. Learning from the past will only improve the club and the brand further.

FC Florida Foundation, Inc. was formed in Palm City, Florida in 2011 as a premier youth soccer development organization, largely in response to the growing awareness of, and high demand for, the intense, professional training occurring at the Filipe Estate Fields under the direction of trainer / coaches Safet Huseinovic and Jelko Petrov. FC Florida soon formed an alliance with FYSA-affiliated Kicks Soccer Program, Inc., which became a de facto licensee of the U.S. registered FC Florida trademarks, thereby extending the Filipe Estate training programs into statewide competition and beyond.

Over the course of their five year partnership, the volunteers, employees and directors of FC Florida Foundation and the Kicks Soccer Program have been pleased to assist and witness the growth and development of so many young student athletes, on and off the pitch. The commitment, continuity and success of FC Florida's original staff of trainers and coaches has been consistently evident as FC Florida teams are routinely among the very best in the state, even the nation. This success has also been recognized by leading national governing bodies as FC Florida was recently awarded the right to launch a U.S. Development Academy under the authority of U.S. Soccer.

In April 2016, after five rewarding years, the FC Florida Foundation has chosen to end its relationship with Kicks Soccer Program. While the new program additions, camps and collaborations represent intriguing potential, the original founders of FC Florida believe that a renewed commitment to the individual preparatory needs of young adults should take precedence over program expansion. When it comes to the life of a child, and the unique opportunity to build programs for the development of that child, FC Florida believes that 'smaller is better' and that one-on-one mentoring relationships should be the standard, not the exception.

The FC Florida Foundation has now created the FC Florida Preparatory Academy as a vehicle to educate college-bound student athletes on the diverse opportunities represented by a broad spectrum of colleges and universities. The FC Florida Preparatory Academy also offers specific counseling to its student athletes, striving to find the optimum alignment between the uniqueness of the individual, the academic and athletic standards of their preferred colleges, and the specific needs of the associated soccer programs. In short, FC Florida will serve as an advocate for young adults as they seek to leverage their abilities 'on the pitch' to create opportunities in the classroom and for Life.

So here's my question - my kid played on the girl's side, she was born in 2003. What club does she now play for? I mean, they have games and it looks like the club is still there, but what club is she now playing for?

If you read the previous post she wouldn't play for the boys showcase teams she would play for FC Florida U14 girls.
