If there is one thing I have learned about youth soccer in the US is knowledge of the game is the last thing taught or looked at. Size & Speed are waaaaayy down the line of what makes a great soccer player. The top three things that determine success are intelligence, soccer technique (dribbling/accurate passing/receiving/etc), and quickness over first 3-5 yards.Comment
