It was clearly offside. Worcester Academy was clearly the better team and had one of their players get in the way of an empty net shot to clear it. WA was the better team but they had to tough time putting the ball in the net. Andover coach had nothing to do with it other than making sure the lines person in front of her didn't raise the flag for offsides

Andover played WA twice this season. they won both games.

A class B parent here. Watched the play waiting for our game so no dog in the fight. She was offside by 5-6 yards. Not even close. AR clearly had the call but Ref ignored her. Awful way to decide a championship. I heard something afterwards that the Ref's daughter played for WA and has a hair across his butt about the program. Hope I misunderstood that.

Okay, let's go over this just one more time to make sure you've got it.

On 11/11, Andover beat WA at WA 1 to 0 in the regular season.

On 11/18, Andover beat Greenwich 3 to 0 in the Class A quarter finals.

On 11/21, Andover beat Taft 3 to 0 in the Class A semi finals.

Today, 11/22, Andover beat WA 1 to 0 in the Class A finals.

Andover IS the 2015 Nepsac Class A Champ!

Ok, let's get real. Taft and Greenwich are not not equivalent competition. I don't believe anyone is trying to take anything away from Andover, they are a very capable team. The reality is, the game could have gone either way. The two teams were very well matched.

Andover is clearly the champ, that cannot be taken away from them. The only issue here seems to be an attempt to claim Andover is far superior to WA, that is just not the case.

If you are asking if WA beat those teams, they beat Choate, lost to Nobles. WA beat teams Andover lost to, as Andover beat teams WA lost to. At the top tier of Class A, on any given day anyone of the teams might have come out on top.

That said, it was a great win for your team. So enjoy it. The girls deserve some time to bask in the sun.

Don't you just hate it when rich people have to gloat by starting a whole new thread? Just goes to show you money does not ensure class.

Especially when they clearly got a gift from the ref that literally gave them a game they were not winning. Score says what it says, and it will not change, but the win will forever be tainted by the no call in much the way most NFL fans feel about the infamous "tuck rule" and the Patriots win over the Raiders. The only difference is the NFL got the call right but the rule was wrong. In this case the call was obviously missed. The Andover folks should enjoy their title but realize it was a gift from a ref with an axe to grind so they might just want to have an ounce of class.

Nobody likes a sore loser it breeds cry babies! Nobody stopped the girls from scoring goals or maybe Andover did? Move on my friend!
