AC Delray U11 Girls win West Pines

    AC Delray U11 Girls win West Pines

    Did anyone catch the U11 AC Delray girls at West Pines Classic last weekend? I saw a few minutes of a couple of their games and they looked fantastic (I was at the same park). I checked the results and they actually won the top tier - beating Real Miami, Weston, Sunrise and Coral Estates - which are all very solid teams, all ranked in Top 10. And the Delray girls only had 8 players! No Subs! My kid is above age, but if she were in this age bracket I would be looking to make a move to Delray.

          Thank you for the kind words, yes we are very proud of our girls. I only wished the other teams would have put up a little bit more of a challenge. This tournament was more like a glorified scrimmage for us.

                              Good team

                              Yes it's a good team, they beat us and yes they had no subs. I felt bad for those poor girls in the heat. The coach looked about 75 years old and screamed his lungs out. The girls played hard and very skillful, deserved to win but you can't do that every time with 8 girls, injuries or sick days they are going to be in trouble.
