    Us mnt

Ousted by the Reggae Boyz tonight.

Will this be the end of JK?

Is that a joke? I don't believe it will sit well but the leadership of the USSF needs to go. JK will do fine despite this loss.

U.S. needs to assess the talent pool they have. Currently they are no viable option other than Clint D. The rest are horrible at best. Bite our tongues and start training the U14 team and see if we can select players that have the technical skills and soccer IQ to match the rest of the world. Getting beat by a country of less than 3 millions is huminilating. No excuses.

both goals were a result of GK errors. If TH is in goal, I don't think either go in.

TH is getting up there in years. If they don't have a quality GK next in line then we really are in trouble.

100% agree with this comment. GK killed us tonight. And Goozer cannot be the best Howard replacement the USMT has to offer.

That said, the team does not deserve to be acquitted based on poor keeper play. Only Dempsey can create his own opportunities. Rest of the team seems to be an accumulation of serviceable role players.

Just serves to demonstrate how far a strong keeper, dynamic forward, and decent support cast can take you. Couldn't get the result tonight. The USMT is a slightly above average, dangerous side on any given night; not good enough to take it all home...including the coveted Gold Cup!

That's cold comfort. U.S. was awful. We can only score a single goal on a goalie who plays for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds? Maybe our NT players should go back to Europe.

Agree both goals were gk errors. But JK has to get BG and NR ready for the WC (if they qualify) TH would be too old by then. Feel bad for BG but they're not out of it yet and this could be the formative experience for BG that matures him.

It's the Final pass or the finishing shot that the US just can't seem to make happen. Bedoya and Fabian Johnson created several chances but no one could finish . MB at least three times let his first touch get too far ahead of him. Midfield in general too slow . Jamaicans read the balls very well and were faster / quicker - all US could do was push them from the back (Zardes, yedlin(surprisingly) , beckerman) I thought Bedoya and Johnson were phenomenal tonight. Dempsey and Bradley need to go back to Europe where he can really get better.

Howard will be 39 and Dempsey will be 35 for the 2018 World Cup. Is there any reason for optimism?

The last 15 - 20 minutes all they did was try long balls. Absolutely no attempt to string together more than two passes. And this is against Jamaica. Which has about as many people as Rhode Island

And the US goal was on a GK error. So it should have been a tie. Maybe we would win on PK's

If the Final 6 in WC Qualifying is the US, Mexico, Panama, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Haiti, the US may not make it to Russia

I'm very confused here, how were both goals Jamaica scored goalkeeping errors?

a few ideas to kick around. or if your brad guzan, maybe they go over your head. or you don't step off your line to discuss....

late reaction time, slow off his line, failed to command the 18, mental errors, missed the ball, too short, misjudged the wall, played scared.
