Florida Fire may be losing their franchise

The word on the street is that Florida Fire Juniors may be losing their franchise to Chicago Fire after three losing years of players and teams.

New Coaches were brought in but the teams they were scheduled to coach left. Many players and Teams in the older age group left the club. They are offering scholarship to many players just to keep them around.

Heard something last year but I thought they managed to keep it.

The franchise is worthless anyway. They do nothing for the club.

And you have to pay the fire a percentage for nothing.

          Hahaha

          Funny stuff, and completely untrue

Florida Fire just signed a 3 year extension

They also added 4 new teams (and possibly a 5th) in the academy age group.

            Flat fee. Not a percentage.

The knights are the ones paying a percentage to GPS

Another hater trying to spread rumors. Yes, Fire lost players but only at the older age groups.

No scholarship offers have been made that I know of. Players have to apply for financial aid just like everyone else.

New coaches have been brought in to improve the club, not the players who have left.

Fire just extended their contract with Chicago Fire.

                  Good try though.

Not true. Seems like the same poster posting things.

One age group went to San Carlos I believe, and there is no team for that age group now so I'm not sure what parents would be calling?

Some girls went to different clubs because there wasn't going to be a team for another age group.

Every year clubs in this area lose and gain players. Fire are up in numbers from last year, and most of those players are coming from academy ages where it counts!

Academy meaning added 6 & 7 year old?
What happen to the old players that play state cup? did you lose all of them?
How about the scholarship that you don't know of?
I hope you can justify that to the parents that fork the bill.

                        What scholarships?

Fire offers financial aid every year to those who apply. That is what non-profits do

Players wanted to go north, but were told they cannot because of scholarship funds and now they feel they are held hostage by Florida Fire. they want out. let them go. stop your bullying for them.

Of course it is a lie.
And you are not calling players that did not tryout for you this season and offered them a position on a team without seeing them just so you can make teams
