A lot of players are offered positions in their senior year. Just because most D1 schools have made their commitments, there are still plenty of opportunities for the others.

Not sure but it would be nice to see the number 1 and number 2 in the final for state cup instead of the semi final and the scores proved that. Hopefully fysa can figure that out going forward

Ponte Vedra was the 2 time defending champion & participated in National League-SPL-RPLEast. The points they received from National League & SPL put them as a higher seed than FF. Teams in FSPL get points as do teams that participate in other USYS leagues. FF got points in their league but it wasn't enough to put them higher than 4th. So a team should be placed higher because of gotsoccer? Not the case & I defend what the state uses to seed teams for state cup. Previous year finish has to matter & leagues you play in should also matter. Not getting points at Jefferson Cup in a 3 game showcase where you never play in a semi or final but yet are awarded as the champion. Come on people. Get off the rankings
PV lost a lot of players to ECNL the year before, and I doubt they will even have a non-ECNL competitive team this year. We'll see.

When you are getting points going to top showcases and winning your brackets, instead of getting seeding points for placing in an easy league, that makes sense to me. While Got Soccer may have its issues, once teams get to the U16 age, it seems to really even out and the consistently good teams are ranked highest. Why not use Got Soccer in some way for seeding State Cup? At least as one of the tools. Every other top tournament uses it.
And I agree - there should also be a bigger differential in points awarded for doing well in higher leagues such as R3PL and national league, rather than FSPL.

FF, you've been played by most of the top 10 in this state and you can actually make such a remark? We all know how those games went. As much as they'd like to bury their stats. Any other team could have beaten them on any other day. And PV was not the same team as last year but I give them some credit for going as far as they did; they went beyond what I expected. BR, not sure what happened to them, only getting to elite eight, and yes TBU was able to get it done this year. oh, can't forget maitland FKK, congrats too for hanging tough final four finish. That's the wrap for top 5.
Confusing post.....
