So here is a story about a coach who takes over a team. Plays the whole us vs the world strategy and gets the parents and kids to buy into it. Leads the team to a great record, tournament success, division win also. The team is looking to get more players now for next years move to 11v11. Things are looking good. Parents and kids all getting along.

However,

The coach has been having issues with the league all year. Not happy with the decisions that have been made. Coach announces he isn't coming back. He will coach through the last tournament but then he is done. Gives the kids the week off to "prepare for tryouts" The murmurs start. Tryouts where'd? Ours aren't until the end of May. Who is staying, who is going? Nobody is trusting anyone, let alone this coach because just two weeks earlier, all kids were coming back and we were a player or two away from a decent roster for next year.

So now we have mad parents and a coach who doesn't care. Who knows if we have a team for next year or not

It will be interesting to follow that is for sure.
