Good question about 3+ hour one-way drive from Miami area to train in central FL, especially during the week. Wonder if there is a special arrangement on that. While I'm sure the players will be missed, Sunrise is a deep talented team so they should be fine. Got to wonder how this will work for OCYS team that already has 20+ players, including discovery players. Should be interesting.

Just my two cents.

It's not like any girl is going to go pro and making millions of dollars. There is no women's league that will pay big bucks like Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc. this seems like pure craziness. Now, I could understand switching clubs if for some reason the family is moving due to a job relocation, etc.
Just my two cents.

Ecnl allows two discovery players on a team. Those players live outside a designated radius so they are not required to train during the week. It is a little challenging because no team chemistry is formed but it happens at every club in most age groups. Then you have the case of the crazy mom in Orlando that has burned bridges with both ECNL clubs and daughter has to discovery play in Atlanta. I find that extremely funny and the threads are funny to read.
