Ok, maybe I will regret starting this post but I have a question... When you go see the pool of guest players that registered as available for a team to pick them, why would someone from a team doing the tournament be listed there? No need to name the player or the team in your response please... It just doesn't make sense to me.

...must be a touchy subject, maybe it's your kid?... see I had to register a guest, so I had a reason to be seeing that list... it still doesn't answer the question why a player enlist itself there when his/her team is actually playing the tournament... If our team would be in the same bracket/group, I would probably pick that player just for fun... playing against own team, LMAO

Disney is a very high level tournament that requires a major year-round commitment from players on a serious team.
It sounds like the player must not be in good standing with the team for whatever reason?

Can U19 players already playing college soccer play in the Disney Showcase? Looks like some of the U18 teams in gotsoccer are now registered U19 in gotsoccer and have college players on their roster.

Players Under 18 or younger currently affiliated with a college program can participate on their regular club team but will NOT be allowed to be a guest player at the event.
If you are not sure of a player’s eligibility ask, in writing, the Tournament Director.
In no event will a player be allowed to participate who has not been certified by the Disney Youth Soccer Tournaments Credentials Committee.
