With the recent results from this weekends tournaments many people including those on ECNL teams must be questioning the strength of the league, specifically the North East. Stars, Breakers and FSA struggling at MPS while East Meadow and Albertson failing at NEWSS.

Funny thing come college commitment time look who ends up where? Stars ecnl will lead the way. Who cares about gps and NEWSS Go to the ecnl events where all the colleges go. These tournaments in freezing cold weather are warm ups. Only matters what happens when you are in front of college coaches. Enjoy your wins when they don't matter

Look at the recent departures on the DAP side when it's come to BOLTS, players have returned back to their clubs in droves because of the prices and lack of quality, and now people are realizing that Stars ECNL isn't all it's cracked up to be. Not to pile on, but there's no Easter bunny or tooth fairy either, and if your daughter gets on scholarship at a D1 school, the coach can revoke it when they find a better player. I think i'll stick to a place where they actually will develop, not sell the dream.

U16 NEFC 4 Stars ECNL 1
U17 NEFC 1 Stars ECNL 1
NPL is not that shabby. Just saying. Imagine losing or tying with all those Division 1 commits. JD must have not slept all weekend. Tough to argue when your teams cant compete against that terrible league NPL huh. HAHAHAHAHA

Seacoast 16 beat FSA ECNL
Seacoast 17 and MPS 17 tied FSA ECNL
Bayside 18 tied Scorpions ECNL and Seacoast 18 beat FSA ECNL
NPL is such a weak league.

So much for the tired old argument about ECNL dominance in this region. Looks like NPL is the top dog and there are going to be few ECNL supporters who are going to come on here and debate it. All that money only to be beaten by a lowly NPL team. Ouch!
