Is Miami still considered part of FL? If not, may explain the lack of FL players.

They hold very expensive clinics and don't recruit many FLA girls. Welcome to last place Miami!!!!

FSU probably does the best job with Fl. kids

...and USF too! Why would you not want to play at a Florida school when you are from Iceland, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, or New Zealand? And they have all known about Disney World since they were babies! We all love Florida and so do the foreigners! Playing soccer and getting a free education while doing so is a pretty sweet gig for these kids!

agree. USF sadly doesn't recruit much from their own backyard, and the are now, like UCF, selecting from the ecnl pools and not bothering to look at other talent around the state. lazy. Also, don't let the local talent fool you, they might get the roster spots on some of the bigger DI schools, but the foreigners are the ones getting the full rides. I know a girl that went to Miami with no athletic money offered. hey, they can afford it.

DOC at a BIG local Tampa club invited USF to a college night, lots of SEC, ACC, other clubs have attended these "college nights." USF said they would love to come for a several hundred $$$ fee. More than $500. What, you want us to come watch local players at a good club for FREE? WE ARE USF ARE YOU KIDDING? PAY US....
