New England's Top D1 Womens Soccer teams 2014

Who will be the best teams in New England this fall?

BC will be top 1 or 2. BU, UConn, Harvard, Northeastern, Providence, Dartmouth who else will be fun teams to bring my daughter to watch?

Fairfield University will be very good this year. Maine and Vermont will be contenders and with 3rd coach in 3 years New Hampshire will be an unknown. Hartford will have a good shot at title

I think UMass Lowell Riverhawks could surprise a few teams and also Adams College as the Atoms look to send a message

BC is potentially in for a rough year.

Casey Morrison is out - ACL.
Mackenzie Meehan is out - Achilles.

They are down to 15 healthy field players, 4 of which who are freshmen.

Not good for the eagles but they will still be a force maybe not sweet 16 but still best in New England

Awful news about the injured players - I wish them all the best.

Before I read your post, I was thinking that BC would get off to an 8-1 or 9-0 start this year, based on its schedule, and finish something like 14-5 or even 15-4 for the regular season, barring any ties. Can the new recruits step up on defense?

                      BC schedule is here: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/...e/schedule.pdf

UML will be in the hunt for last place, just like last year where they won 1 game.

New coach and their second year in D1 is a recipe for another bad season.

13-6 overall record but probably 5 of those loses coming in the ACC.

Wow - what a horrible non conference schedule.

Being in the ACC you can play whoever you want and it doesn't kill your RPI. 7 of the best w soccer programs are in the ACC. Florida St. North Carolina. Duke. Wake Forest. Va Tech. Virginia. Boston College.
