    Tournament Rankings

Well, since the Creeks thread has developed into an argument over who will get ECNL, here's a new thread for the boys.

Where are the solid boys teams this year in each age bracket?

      ?

Actually, we moved here this past summer and am looking for a direction to go with my U10. He is currently at CCSC, but I see that they only have one competitive boys team (u14). This happens to be the team coached by the boys DOC. There have to be other programs better for him.

There are a number of clubs in the area that can develop a youth player. You might as well stay close to home for now. If he is a talented player by age 12, JFC will steal him anyway. Then you can commute across town.

JFC doesn't steal players. Parents of talented kids do their research and make informed decisions based on the needs and wants of their players. We recently changed to JFC after "experiencing" a couple of other clubs in town. We drive pays other clubs several times a week and thank our lucky stars every time we pull into Patton Park that we made the best decision for our family! No stealing, just the best opportunity for talented players in town!

The concept of "stealing" players is laughable. We are talking about kids. JFC develops talent in their youth academy AND players choose to come from elsewhere in town because of what they can offer that other clubs can't.

              to name just a few:

              - three competitive teams at each age level.
-The "A" team on each age group plays UP a level
-JFC offers technical training with highly qualified coaches.
-JFC has the DA team to offer higher level play to the most talented U14 players
-the only actual goalkeeping program in NE FL. JFC continues to be a leader in the "GA" statistics.

If your club says JFC steals players, ask them what they can OFFER. In every age group (except U14 where the best players play on DA), JFC has a top 20 ranked team (or two).

What do you mean GK program? Every club has one.

none in NE FL that are worth considering.

CCSC has become more of a girls program, though they are not in competition for ECNL. The boys DOC you refer to is a hothead. However, there are some good coaches there. But, as others have pointed out, they don't have much to offer the older competitive players. If your son becomes good enough, he should look toward the DA program. Most of the better players at CCSC will do ODP or Super Y maybe....which are a joke compared to DA.

This list leaves off membership and competition in NPL for the "A" teams. No other club in the area has NPL/FPL affiliation.

What's the benefit of NPL/FPL affiliation?

Says the ccsc board member. No comparison between what your son will get with JFC vs ccsc. The path to top growth of any player is at JFC. The go to club for any serious soccer player w talent. Families are driving from fruit cove, mandarin, arlington, clay county, Flagler, Jekkyl island, etc to play for that club. Well worth the drive.
