In less than one year the SCP girls program has been almost completely decimated. SCP on the girls side at the 13,14,15,16,17 age groups will either be non-existent or will field a mediocre team that will only be able to compete in-state. The club somehow missed the boat on ECNL & now the NPL league and will be the only "BIG" club left on the girl’s side not competing in a top league in the region.
What a sad reality for a girls club who took home 2 State Championships last year and was competitive regionally at all age groups listed above.
Recent Events:
-RK has gone to the dark side with SCP rising 12s and 15s. SCP will not field teams at U13 & U16 next year.
-Almost half of this year’s 13s have moved to other clubs after the departure of AD.
-The rising 14s & 16s teams have lost the few stars they had to CFC and will struggle again next year outside of CT. Both teams were middle of road teams in CT this year.
-MH's rising 17s will be strong again but unfortunately are on their way out as this is their last year at the club.
How did SCP's fall for grace on the girl’s side happen so quickly?
