Summary....probably the most noteworthy is the very average class that UCONN has recruited, this was a team that were runners up in the NCAA tourney a few years back. Stanford just recruited 11 National team players...UCONN did not bring in 1 regional player in 2012.

Yale's class was the strongest in CT helped by the Regional player (Ames) from Birmingham.

The other 5 schools recruited their usual type of player rated between 30 and 40 although Hartford have brought in 2 foreign players which we are unable to rate.

    #2
    Note :

No players from Yankee, Beachside , FSA or South Central signed for a Division 1 Connecticut College in 2012.

I have no info about this particular case, but I find these kinds of statements generally misleading. In most cases, the player decides that they are not interested in the school at a point in the recruiting process when the school is still actively recruiting a lot more players than they have slots for and long before any verbal offer has been made to the player. As a result, there is generally no way to know whether a verbal offer would, in the end, have been forthcoming if the player had decided to pursue one, and it is perhaps just as likely as not that the school would have ultimately "turned down" the player by not making them an offer.

That's stupid. Those schools don't make full-ride offers in the winter of a player's senior year.
