2006 State Games of NC Soccer Tournaments - Registration Ope

We are gearing up for the 2006 State Games of North Carolina, presented by SAS. 2006 marks the 20th Anniversary and we hope you will join us in celebrating amateur athletics, health and fitness, June 2-25 in Cary, NC.

The Youth Soccer Tournament will be June 24-25 at SAS Soccer park and other Cary fields. The Adult Soccer Tournament will be June 17-18 at Cedar Fork Park in Morrisville.

The High School Soccer Showcase will be June 24-25 at SAS Soccer Park. The deadline for nominating players is March 10!

Designed to promote personal development through physical fitness and health, the Games are truly an event for the citizens of North Carolina. Competition is divided in most cases by age and skill level to make the events fun and fair. Any resident of North Carolina, including military personnel and college students, are eligible to enter the State Games as long as he/she has lived in the state for 30 days prior to the first day of competition.

Cary, in its second year as host city of the State Games of North Carolina, presented by SAS will showcase Cary Parks and Recreation Department facilities, local schools and universities, as well as other venues throughout Cary and Wake County.

    New for 2006:
The State Games is making it easier, more convenient and less expensive to register online. Save up to $20 by registering online at www.ncsports.org. Team coaches can now fill out and update rosters until the roster deadline from our registration site and a special login code. The login code will be given once your registration is complete.

We look forward to seeing you in Cary, June 2-25. Please call (919) 361-1133 or visit www.ncsports.org for more information. You may also email us at stategamesnc@ncsports.org.

Why did you decide to make it so that all-star challenge teams couldn't participate this year? Did you just want to get rid of the NLA teams? Afraid of a little stiff competition or something? That really sux.
