Hell Of a job.......Way better to go in to the regionals as the State Champ, than the wild card.....that team may be the best the state has seen in a couple of years......

"Best team the state has seen in a couple of years," ie have a shot to win regionals at their age group..

U15B - Congratulations to CFC. The 2-0 result is not a huge surprise. CFC has a strong team at this age group and FSA has had a very difficult time scoring goals against good competition. It looks like they only scored 2 goals in 7 games of regional competition, and they were also shut out in the Cup by a solid Soccerplus team.

Based on the results of the FSA boys U14, U15 and U16, it appears that having a first class complex really does not impact the performance on the field.

It is great if you have one, however, good coaching can always be a great equalizer.

Heard CFC U17's gave Yankee u17's the run around..I think that just proves a point at how much better CFC is than Yankee united. No comparison.

You mean the best players from CFC United ECNL 16s & 17s outplayed a great Yankee team that is going to Regionals as well? Would loved to of watched the CFC United 17s vs the Yankee 17s straight up.

You take SG and SA (CUFC 16s) off the field and that "All-Star" team becomes average at best. Get over yourself. SG & SA is without question 2 of the top strikers in the country. Credit to NP and the Yankee girls for reaching back to back state finals and establishing themselves as one of the best teams in the Region.

That is true. It's time for FSA to get serious about their coaching staff or that facility is all for show. Enough with these high school coaches. There are a lot of good coaches at smaller clubs that will develop your child better so you don't have to buy into the facility. FSA is all sizzle very little substance...

Not saying that for one bit. Just greater than Yankee....glad to see the U16 players where out playing the U17 Yankee players though, says a great deal about the class of players in the CFC organization.

CFC provides far better coaching and value for money than Yankee united.

All in all CFC is just a far better environment for a young female athlete to achieve her soccer dreams.

I think it's far to say CFC United U15-18 would run rings around all the Yankee united teams..Sorry but the truth hurts sometimes.

Does seem like Everton is taking a little bite out of Beachside in Fairfield County. Well done Blues.

Not sure I understand why CFC bothered to put an all star team of ECNL players together for State Cup since they won't be able to field same team for Regionals because of conflict with ECNL Nationals?
