It does not show that the Revs are any better than the Bolts in sending kids to Division 1 schools.

I don't know how complete the list is, as there are very few (actually only one other) other Mass youth clubs represented.

No, it's not a complete list. This web site is dependent on these kids letting them know that they have committed to a school. Some kids choose not to do that which is not a surprise given the beating they can take on a forum like this from the geniuses that have never met them.

It is a complete list. The schools/coaches give the list to the website. The * before the names indicate the coach confirmed the recruit.

I'm sure there are examples that prove your tiresome point, but the majority of the names on this list and others come from the schools promoting their programs.

Just wondering, if your kid decided to attend a college he or she were recruited by, would you tell the coach not to include their name in any program announcements?

The good news is that all the 2011 eligible Revs players that graduated last year went to college, all the way from community college to D1, and are rostered. The exceptions being FB who went to Espana. The rest were PGs.

Neither team is great in sending players to D1 in comparison to the many other DAP areas of the country. However, that said if your player has a yearning to play D1 soccer, then get him to either DAP team as being part of either greatly increases his (albeit slim)chances, however ultimately if he is neither VERY BIG nor VERY FAST downgrade your view to D2 or D3 which is were most (95%) of Mass players playing in college play. D1 Men's college soccer is a "bombs away" direct style offense with a premium place on SPEED and SIZE.

I spent $40,000 on club soccer for my daughter - she never made it out of D2, she didn't get recruited or a single dollar of scholarship money and played a few years of crappy D3 soccer at a school she loved. Now she has graduated from college with two degrees. She has 30 employees reporting to her and is managing a department at a high volume operation with $7M a year in revenue. Maybe your little Mia or Landon is reporting to her these days.

Wow. We only spent $10,000 on club, got a huge soccer scholarship, graduated with honors and no debt and now she is making $six figures.

Did you mean 6 figures, or stick figures?
