Obviously it is not all that hard to find bashes about the ECNL. Lots of people question what they are doing. Thought that thread was pretty straight forward and discussed the anticipated evolution of the league in a fairly business like fashion. Intended to show that the seeds of the topic were not some random shot across the bow

Doubt it's true. But if it was, the scorpions would be screwed.

If you read the Scorpions U16 thread you get the sense that this B flight issue is more than just a bunch of naysayers just picking on the ECNL. You have the same issue in many age groups where the reality of a future in the B flight has a bunch of people sitting on the fence. If they can't field a team what does the league do? This actually is a pretty big issue.

Teams in the B Level wouldn't even be competitive in the State Leagues. Unfortunately, they will not "do away". Those teams represent to much money to the overall "league".
