    New England College Clinics-Women

Now that my daughter is a sophmore, we are looking to attend some clinics and visit colleges. We recently received an invitation from St Bonn. but the drive is too long. Does anyone know of any other clinics coming up. Thanks

Lots of 1 day recruiting camps on Columbus Day. Check the college of your preference.

Umass Darthmouth is doing one this Sunday. Their website has a brochure.

My advice would be not to go to a one day college clinic unless you have created a relationship with the school and coach already and you are truy interested in the school. These can be anywhere from 20 to 200 players. If its a small clinic then despite it being on a website it is intended for their real prospects. If it is a large clinic then only a small number of the kids are going to watched and for the rest its just like any local soccer clinic and is likely a real disappointment and turnoff. If you have created a relationship with the coach already these small clinics are invaluable.

              Good advice.

Still time to contact the coach ahead.

Yes and no. Easy to send an email and describe yourself. Not easy for a coach to care less than a week before the actual clinic. Just sending a coach an email is not creating a relationship. The relationship is created by visiting the school, meeting with the coach, having the coach watch a game or several games you play in, talking on the phone,, having your club coach talk with the college coach, etc. One email wil help, but the more the contact and relationship building the better.
