    State Cup

Will FSA and Beachside teams play in the 2012 State Cup since they will not be playing in the CJSA leagues? I believe they will participate in the EDL.

Maybe CJSA should just schedule the finals around Beachside and FSA since they both will dominate CT again. Without Oakwood the boys side is a joke...

Ageed.... on the girls side if Oakwood ever decided to go the ECNL route they would be on even par with CFC and ahead of SP without a doubt!

Oakwood is a good club, but to say they are on par with CFC is a joke. Their U17 team has a regional players and even a National team player, yet they were beat by CFC United U17 two years in a row, at State Cup. Oakwood U16s didn't go far in State Cup, either.

Oakwood puts 1 team in each age group from U12-U18 and the U13 and U14 team won the state cup and were in the semi-finals and finals of the regionals the U16 team beat the ECNL SP team and the U17 team would give the U17 CFC team all it wants, the U18 team beat the U18 ecnl team of CFC. This from a club that does not have 5 teams to draw from in each age group! Get Real!!!!

Before this year, the Oakwood girls program was a joke. You cant compare Oakwood to CFC just because they had one good year. Why dont you compare the number of State cups won by Oakwood compared to CFC the past five years.

Let's compare the number of state cups and regional/national players that each have had since CFC began?

Is the talk of the ECNL teams opting out of the State Cups from U15-U18 true???

Obviously an Oakwood parent from how defensive you are. Re: U17 team would give the U17 CFC team all it wants, then how come Oakwood lost State Cup to them 2 years in a row?
Maybe at the younger age groups, CFC has more teams to draw from, but the older age groups (LIKE U17), there are only 2 CFC teams. Who needs the reality check now?

ECNL teams will not be participating in State Cup or Region 1 play, going forward.

There you have now Oakwood has no excuses about CFC having to many teams and getting beat by CFC United moving forward....it's funny since that is the same club that likes to talk how great their Boys program is.....they hate CFC for having the ECNL which allows them some amazing teams, but brag about their DAP Boys.....

Oakwood parents should be bragging about their facilities rather than trying to compare themselves with CFC's accomplishments. CFC plays on cow pastures
