Im curious if anyone else observed that with their club this year? Rosters in the 20s instead of teens?

Many clubs haven't posted rosters for their teams. My guess is that they haven't come close to filling them.

from cjsa website:
U12-U15 team must not allow more than eighteen (18) or less than seven (7)
players and a U16 and older team must not allow more than twenty-two (22) or less than
seven (7) players on its team roster at any given time during the seasonal year.
Injuries play a major factor at U16 and up which is why the increase to 22 players. you will notice that most teams will end up less 3-5 kids as the season progresses to injury

some clubs may list more kids because some of them are not "officially" on the roster, as they might be a player that only practices with the team and plays in friendlies in hopes of making the team at a later date. Some clubs may single out these players with an asterik or "training" or "winter" like Soccerplus does, some clubs might not.

Most teams have two rosters. A CJSA roster which is bsically just for state cup and a USClub roster for tournaments. Doesn't mean the same 18 kids are on both lists.
