I need some recommendations for good soccer camps in western MA. I have a son who plays U11 soccer and would like to find a day camp that really does some good skills training in a fun, positive atmosphere with qualified instructors. I live in Hampshire County(Amherst) but I am willing to travel for the right program. Thanks in advance!

Joe Machnick's Camp that people spoke highly of in another thread is residential but they do allow day campers. They are having a session about 30 miles away from you.

Thanks for the recommendation! The drive from Amherst to Northfield is not too bad! Does anybody have any thoughts about the soccer camps in Amherst, i.e. UMass vs. Amherst College's soccer camps?Comment

I am also in Amherst. Dont know about the boys camp but my daughter liked the Amherst College camp. She and her friends did the Ferdie soccer magic camp in Wilbraham and got alot out of it, mostly foot skills. Only took a half hour to get there from S. Amherst.Comment

This is a great camp. Will be held at The MacDuffie school in GRanby this year. It is residential but they offer a day camp option.Comment
