Arsenal FC Winter Showcase- Temecula California

Both teams battled hard in the first half with RSF controling the half. Sunderland had to adjust to the speed of the Green team. The first half ended 0-0. The start of the second half saw the Attack come out strong.
Two minutes into the half, off a corner kick, Attack got of a weak spinning shot that spun off Sunderland's goalies gloves and through her legs.
In the second half Attack had two girls carried off due to injuries. One hit her head hard on the ground and one may have broken an ankle. The injuries resulted in no fouls against Sunderland, but a total 12 minutes off the second half.

In the 32nd minute Sunderland strung together a great series of passes from Britt. to Shae to Sam for the tieing goal. At then end Sunderland had their game on. The lost 12 minutes were not awarded and the game ended tied 1-1

MVSC Crush 3

Sunderland dominated the Crush for the first half but had a hard time fininshing. The second half saw Sunderland with a mental breakdown in the first two minutes and gave up a goal. Within a minute Sunderland had tied the game up. About half way through the second another defensive mishap led to a Crush goal scored off of the Sunderland player. Sunderland tied the game up on a PK. One of many that shoud have been awarded. Following the PK Sunderland put together a beautiful string of passes to hammer a goal home. But in the final minutes of the game Crush put a run together and tied it up at 3 goals each.

South Bay Force 1
Sunderland finish their third game with a 1-1 tie with South Bay. The first half was a back and forth, middle of the field battle.

Sunderland scores first in the second half. Too many corner kicks allowed this weekend finally lead to an opponent goal. South Bay tied the game on a great header off a corner kick.

This weekend saw Sunderland give up the lead 3 times in two games. They saw quality, fast paced soccer that should help them prepare for state cup.
