Arsenal beat AS Roma 7-6 in a penalty shootout Wednesday to reach the Champions League quarterfinals. Max Tonetto sent his penalty high for AS Roma to give the English club the win. Roma won the game 1-0 thanks to Juan's goal in the ninth minute, after the defender met a cross from Francesco Totti at the far post. That left the clubs tied 1-1 on aggregate, with neither team scoring in extra time.
