It's great that the stars and scorps are doing so well, but sad that no other clubs show up until way down the list. Look at Conn. They might not be in the top 10, but they've got 3 in the top 25 at U15.

The problem is you have to pursue those rankings. Your team has to go to the tournaments that mathman (or particular ranking organization) covers. It's always been this way with the national rankings. Many teams from MA are good, but they don't participate in the events or enter regional leagues.

Some think it's important and some don't.
Who are the teams in MA who are good who do not enter events or regional leagues????
Wrong - Mathman ranks all games including league games and state cup games - not just tournament games. If you play and win your league games and state cup games you will get points. However, if you play competition that doesn't have many points, you will not get very many points by beating them. Conversely if you come up against a team with lots of points in the round robin or at a tournament and lose - you won't lose many points either.

Although many use it that way, MM 's not a "ranking" it's a "rating" and it is based on WHO you play not WHERE you play.
"Make a selection on the right to see how your team rates, by state, region, or nationally. We only give the ratings if your team is a premier team in a league or tournament that we cover (about 300 divisions of 95 leagues, and over 600 tournaments)."

U15 Fuller Hamlets will drop out of site at the end of this season. This team completely imploded. Watch for the Stars Athletic team to rise up to the ranks. I had thought Explosion FC was an up-and-coming team, until I saw them play in an indoor tournament....
