That would be good for 3A. Tampa Prep always fields a good side.

Speaking of 3A, is Maclay (Tallahassee) finally making the jump to Winter soccer from Fall ball? Fall soccer used to be very competitive, but now it's a joke. Maclay has historically fielded strong sides and should really leave Fall soccer ASAP.

If they move to 3A, the girls team will get killed.

                Tampa Prep 3A

An inside source has told me that moving TampaPrep to 3A is considered every year, and has been done in the past...It gets looked at as a way to keep the number of teams in a district balanced. ...by the way, the Prep girls are 6-2-1 against 3A teams over the last 2 years, and made it to the finals of the Sarasota Holiday Tournament playing against 4A teams this year.

tampa prep beat ccc 2-1 earlier in the year, they are regional champs in 3a, and they beat trinity prep 6-0 who was a regional finalsist in 3a, they even beat jesuit in pk's earlier in the year and they are 4a regional champs...moving this team to 3a would do nothing with this years squad, theyd still dominate and probably win states....and if you look at the 2a and 3a final 4....2a is much better

What 6 games have they won against 3A schools. Must be really bad teams!

                            tampa prep 3A

In the last 2 years the Tampa Prep girls have beaten Academy of Holy Names, Tampa Catholic, Berkely Prep, Southeast H.S. in Manatee Co., and North Port H.S.... The boys team would probably benefit by playing 3A in that the competion in 2A can be very uneven until you get to the regional playoffs.

The girl's teams you mention them beating are very weak even though they are bigger than 2a. If that's the best they can do, they'll never make it past districts.
