Congratulations Ms. Mewis!

Incredible that we have threads with thousands of posts of folks arguing and debating over achieving ultimate goals, and then when they actually are fulfilled for real and are posted on this site there is almost no response. When we see cases of actual dreams being fulfilled we should honor that.

No. They both started out as U10s with Scorpions. Scorpions dont have a U18 team (she had been playing up with what would be their 19s this year) so she will be playing in her own age group with SS Select this year. Watch out for us this year!

Umm.. wasnt I watching as the Scorp 14s (among others) just beat the Select 18s at an indoor tournament with Ms. Mewis playing for SSS? (although she did look sublime and was fun to watch).

One kid doesn't make a team even if her last name is Mewis. It certainly won't hurt SSS though.
