How many games?

According to the most recent update on the Mathman website, some of the U15 teams have already played more than 30 rated games since August. This seems like a lot of games. How many games "should" a U15 soccer team play in a year?

I just checked Mathman's website. In the U15 group the Boston Renegades have played 7 rated games so far in the 2008-09 season and the Cape Cod Lady Crusaders have played 6 rated games. All other teams listed have played 0 rated games. (Likewise, only two teams in the U16 group have played any rated games so far.)

For the same age group in the 2007-08 season, Stars United led the way in rated games played with 156, followed by Scorpions Elite (141), Blackhawks (116), Bolts (112), and Stars Athletic (104).

For the MPS teams those would have been the end of Super Y league play over the summer.

Those larger game numbers are for ALL the games rated thus far (not just last year).

All you have to do is got to Got Soccer and see the number of tournament games they play in a year and then add in any league games.

"Seemed like" 156 games -- get it? Maybe it was really only 42 games.
