Wow an eye opening incident! That kid is lucky to be alive!
Soccer has had it share of injuries, but that is a first!
On another note-
The leagues should look into better sideline/ref training for First Aid/First Responder for injured players...
Head injuries, concussions, acl's, broken bones, etc....... are all a risk these players have while on the field -

I don't care what anyone says, keeper get more seriously injured on the field compaired to any other player. As a parent of a keeper I have spent more time in the ER with my keeper than with my mid fielder. Keepers are just wired to make the save at all costs.
