Congrats to Amherst College Mens Soccer

The Amherst College men's soccer team is going to the College Soccer Division 3 final four after beating the previously undefeated and National # 1 team, Trinty Tx, 1-0 yesterday.

The Amherst starting four on the backline (Holland, Skayne, Lewis, and O'Connor) as well as a central midfielder (Rothkopf) and striker (Duker) are from Massachusetts and played MAPLE. Holland and Duker are all league first team selections and Holland was a Division 3 All-American last year.

They play Stevens Institute in Greensboro, NC on December 5th in the National Semi-finals.

And congrats to the Williams College women...they are heading to the final four with record of 19-0-1...2 players from Massachusetts (Inter and Bolts). Would be great to see two national champions from Mass!

These kids must have played in Maple before the league got watered down.

Honestly, unless this comment was made in jest this forum is beyond help. We have two Massachusetts college teams in the final four and it still becomes negative. I'm guessing you have very little to be thankful for this Thursday if you are so miserable you just can't help yourself and have to post something nasty NO MATTER WHAT THE TOPIC.

Sarcasm missed; you better use italics next time.

Thanks for clarifying...GO EPHS AND LORD JEFFS!
