wondering about loyalty at nefc younger teams

what will happen at tryout for the young nefc teams that used to be scorpians? my guess is there will not be any turnover because the coaches want to be loyal to those who followed them. if so, does that mean that players who are good enough to play on the top team wont have a spot even though they deserve it? on the flipside will the coaches just cut these very young kids who gave up the well known club name and followed them ? it will be interetsing

Don't go to NEFC....your kid will be a pawn.

Enough already! Stop the public whinning about your kid not making it, getting overlooked because he's a superstar or getting enough play time. If you don't like the situation, talk to the coach. If you don't like the response, then find another club / alternative. Simple enough.

You posted this in the wrong thread. This thread has to do with a unique situation of very young, under developed kids and their standing at tryouts having left one club as a group to help start up another.

Don't be so sure.....When Puma kids went to NEFC they said they would keep them all so none of them tried out for other clubs....then most of them were cut. The cards were reshuffled.

A tryout is a tryout. If someone better comes along, they get the spot. This is the reason you should never put all you eggs in one basket. Even if you want to return and plan on returning you should tryout elsewhere just in case.

I agree. Tryout for a few clubs as you just never know.

There will be a split of NEFC soon.

What kind of split? Nothing can happen until late June / early July, no?

Unless you are the coaches daughter or son...I would not hold my breathe. June is the month when it all changes from "we really think your child has potential" to "hold your breathe that a player better than yours doesn't show at tryouts"

We should change the name of June to Darwin...

I have NEVER had a fun month of June, it is so stressful ...
