Where are 2010 girl grads going to play soccer?

This new thread is an attempt to keep the college soccer destination from turning into a college choice bashing thread which already exists in this forum. The purpose is for information. As has been indicated, players who have not made their choices public shouldn't be listed. Is there interest for a 2011 list?

Only 2 MPS girls are playing in college? Not great for their marketing.

Those are the only two who are posted here or elsewhere. MPS aill post on their website sometime this spring, as they always do, the college list of their players in a news article. They don't post this way and neitehr they or the girls are caught up in it this way. There are plenty of girls and boys going to good schools and playing soccer in college from MPS.

I posted earlier. These are the D1 signings from MA. Only 2 for MPS.

Are Babson, Lesley, and Amherst D1?

Wow - some people whine when their player isn't listed, some whine that their club's kids aren't into lists and imply anyone whose name has been added to one of these lists did it themselves are braggards, some attack clubs for not having more.

Please if you know of a 2010 girl player planning to play in any college (of any division) and you think they won't mind being listed then please list them. If you have any doubts, don't post. This isn't so hard - if they've gone to the local papers or been listed on their club website, then it should be okay.

Why does everything have to be about "we're better than you" ? Playing soccer in college is just part of the college decision and it's subjective. I think it's great to see where all the players are ending up and it's great to see Massachusetts players represented on rosters here and across the country.

Good luck to all the girls - playing or not.

Not true. I don't have all the numbers, but I know at least one of the MPS girls is going to Providence to play soccer. There are others.

Wash U, Union, Colby, Haverford, Bates, Brown to name a few. Great success and great academic schools. Congratulations to the girls and MPS. They will focus first on great educations and have a great time playing soccer as well.

Based upon that information, it looks like MPS has four girls going D1 (Highpoint, Farleigh, Providence, and Brown). The others appear to be going to strong D3 including Washington University which I believe won the D3 NCAA last year. I disagree with a previous poster. This is great PR and marketing material for MPS.

Wash U lost to Messiah 1-0 in finals, but still a feather in this player's cap. Congrats.

Funny! And true--they haven't lost much the past two years. Great team!

Make fun of MPS all you want. When the various 2012 MPS kids graduate the proof of the multiple equal team development approach will be proven. The number of kids continuing their soccer careers, many at top academic and soccer schools will be impressive and rival any club in Region 1.

Congrats to all these girls plus the Proviidence College one of course. It would be great to see some names and towns and high schools attached to the list with these colleges - if you feel that it's okay with the kids/parents.

It's great so many of our terrific Mass players will continue playing in college.
