Is this team going to be Gold or Silver Elite? Their stats put them in the relegation zone.

Teams go to 12 at U15 and with the parity in the Silver Elite they will be back in Gold to make another run.

Are they going to continue to play kickball style to the one fast girl or are they going to start to learn passing possession.

Not even close. Hey, it's the truth. Collect the ball and kick it long to the fastest player on the team. It is the nature of their game. Works well at the younger ages.

Anybody in the soccer community who knows coaches will tell you that Victor will take this team to the next level provided some new players. He doesn't play kick ball and brings a very nice game to the pitch. It would be a mistake to think you could find a better coach in the SD region because I guarantee that you can't. Trust me, he knows what he is doing..

Depending on a players location if they are good enough and want to play in CSL I would look into So Cal Blues before the Sharks, more passing than kickball at So Cal Blues. From the S.D. North County area the trip north has much less trafic than going south.

Another option that is not in CSL but has an exceptional "A" licenced coach and is a very good team is the Notts Forrest premier team. This team concentrates on passing possesion style and has been very succesfull playing up one year of age in league, GU 15 Premier. My sources tell me they still have room on the team for one or two more players looking for a top team to be part of.

Are you basing this on L/C results? Any team in the GU14 division that made it to the Q/F has exceptional training. IMHO Arsenal has one of the better programs. This includes the so called bigger and better Clubs out there.

Lets not kid ourselves here. Any team from San Diego that plays in that peewee league of a circuit call Presidio is an absolute joke. Not one team from SD in that league has done squat at the National level. With Victor Noguiera the Sharks will NOT play kickball. If you say the Blues are an good option you have to be out of your mind. The parents on Randy's team are in complete disarray over there and are looking for a replacement coach NOT named Larry. You really need to get a clue on your comments before you start spatting BS ont his new forum. :?

I'm basing this on what are reasonably available driving options for San Diego County soccer players in the GU 14 age trying to get the best possible training and competition. There are only three teams worth being on in this area. Surf, Notts Forest and if you don't mind driving a really long way for games every weekend, Sharks. The options for players to be on good teams is very limited in this area as compared to the CSL area.
