My daughter is new to her high school soccer program. For years, her club coaches bashed all things high school as it related to soccer. While she is only a couple of weeks into it, she loves it. The practices are very well run and well-rounded, emphasizing fundamentals. The program has an impressive coaching staff. The level of play of the girls on her team is very, very high (note: her club team is a RIIIPL team). Her coach limits club play to minimize injuries, but has told the girls that club is very important for college...never said anything bad about club (I think he is also a club coach).
I do not expect to be surprised at the level of play in season, but the training, coaching staff and level of play of this team far surpassed all expectations so far. Very pleased....
