So with the recent defections of some top clubs including NCFC, is it only a matter of time before the DA concedes defeat and calls it quits? Southern California message boards are saying it's only a matter of time now, possibly as soon as next week. Where does that leave CSA and Tophat?

How many of the DA refugees can the ECNL have room for? There may soon be 50+ clubs looking for a spot in ECNL.

All of soccer is dying. Expect drastic changes to the soccer landscape if there is no fall season.

And that's the end of that. Any thoughts on the future of North Carolina Club soccer? NCFC wins again.

From the girls side, CSA and Tophat are the only two former DA clubs from Virginia to Florida who are looking for a home. CSA boys academy just went ECNL, so I'd expect the same for CSA girls, but nothing has been announced. Tophat has supposedly burned some bridges along the way and has a tarnished relationship with ECNL, so not sure what happens there....already several ECNL clubs in Atlanta. Out West some former DA clubs didn't get accepted into ECNL, only the ECNL RL..."objective competition-based measurement for full membership".

Some clubs probably happy the DA is gone
The NC Fusion club had the worst DA program in the state, so they are probably happy they don't have to quit. The question is whether they will keep charging their families huge fees. Clubs in Charlotte weren't exactly lighting it up either. But each of them seemed to have at least some teams that were competitive.
