NH rankings for Fall tournament

Granite State League decided it's better for the League to change the "normal" format of playoffs... so #1 plays #3 and #2 plays #4! If you finished second you are in better shape.

Why have rankings for the regular season then? If you are a top team, you have to work harder to get to the Finals... only in NH

yup, granite state youth soccer is a dysfunctional mess. Its run by a handful of folks who have no kids in the game and their biggest concern is preserving their own perks and control. Hell, the guy who sits at the top of the whole show does not even live in NH most of the year!

This is why my kid plays in Mass.... You don't know if you have a game, it could be saturday or sunday or maybe even not this week. This is a truly dysfunctional entity....

Granite State soccer may not be perfect but schedules are clearly delineated. Surely, you exaggerate.

I think the point is that, until the schedules are posted, you have no idea what the league playing season will look like. You might play two games on one day of one weekend and then have no games for another two weeks. Its impossible to plan ahead and, more importantly, it renders more difficult the steady developmental progression of players. At least with MAPLE you know you will be playing once a week and on Sundays from the late morning to the late afternoon. This underscores the essential criticism of Granite State, its run by people who either have no clue or don't care.
