My daughter is a U14 player. In regard to the fall season schedules, her team has had the worst fall league schedule of any team. They played their first game at the end of September. Then played a game a weekend for the next two weeks. Then, last weekend, they had yet another bye. So they played their 4th game of the fall season today. We only had 11 players due to injury and illness. They played well. They managed to tie THUSC despite missing key players and having no subs. Our keeper made some excellent saves.

OPL has been great for U12 and younger. A game each on Saturday and Sunday since the start of the season, all fairly local, finishing season next weekend then go to OPL tournament. Pretty competitive teams.

That doesn't seem right that you haven't played very many games. Thusc is shoot themselves with all those ties. Good luck to you all.

It has been a tough season because of the scheduling chaos. OYSA is having a hard time with it this year. You would think having fewer games to schedule, it would be a breeze. LOL. Hopefully the spring schedules will be better. Small Town- Good luck to your daughter. Maybe next year she will be back to playing club ball :)

Looking Forward To Club

Glad HS ball is winding down. Kinda makes me dizzy watching it. It is going to be interesting to see the FCW Possession after the first season of HS ball. Coach will give the team a tune up and put the pieces to the puzzle together for winter club season. I think most girls got plenty of playing time in HS so we shall see how that figures into mix.

DD's HS team just rapped up the league title with two games remaining. So did DD's teammate at the 2A level. Looking forward to club ball. Team is playing in the FieldTurf Showcase over Thanksgiving weekend. Should be fun to get all the girls back together. I think 14 different HS's. ODP letter just came out and the G95's are starting practice the weekend before TG.

Lots of soccer still to come.

Early ODP

Yes- the 94's are starting in November also. Looks like ODP is cranking it up a notch this year. In years past they started first week of December. This should benefit the Oregon teams and the xtra training is a plus for individual players.

eggy- DD's HS team just rapped up the league title with two games remaining. So did DD's teammate at the 2A level. Looking forward to club ball. Eggy when you see those girls tell good luck form us, didn't Union HS make the play off to.
Rush is playing Thanksgiving week in Temecula, Ca. Wish Cora was going but good luck to them.

Also keep Danielle in your thoughts she is almost to the Persian Gulf for the next about 5 months.

You got that right! The defense has really been playing well (3 goals allowed) but we've got the "can't finish" flu!

Loads of opportunities, just can't get it in the net. Oh well, just keep plugging away and they'll drop at some point. It's happened in past seasons as well so we'll just work through it.

Union and Camas will be playing for first place this week. I don't know how there district playoff works. Skyview is in District final with a berth to the bi-district game. Still waiting to see who we will play in the district final.

Rush will like Temecula. Good fields and well run tournaments
