    USA vs Martinique

I'll laugh my ass off if the MNT loses to Martinique tonight. An island nation of less than 400,000 people.

Start laughing because we don't have a chance. For a tie, perhaps. Win? No way.

If so, it's more proof that it isn't about a country's size or $ spent that matters, but the quality of management running things and the coaching. We don't have either of the last two, plenty of the first two.

The success of all sports always come down to the quality of their management team. Case in point, the Patriots prior to Kraft and look at them now.

We are watching the B team in the Gold Cup. It's has been good to see Rowe look much better than when he plays with the Revs and Dwyer has also done well. These games are nothing more than an opportunity for Arena to take a look at the MLS players.

Morris, Agudelo, and Pulisic should be the primary forwards on the USMNT. Get rid of the dead wood.

And Bruce Arena needs to get rid of the track suits until he loses about 50 lbs.

At one point in second half the announcer said "US is trying to play out of the back..." Then there was a flurry of desperation clearances as the US C team defenders tried to scramble out of trouble. Contrast that with the German C team's poised and deathless defensive play at the Confederation Cup to see how we stack up. Not pretty.

There wasn't one soccer player on the field for the US tonite against Nicaragua. Dismal display from both teams.
