Are the three SUB points in a game pre-determined times? Our dd will be playing DA but am having doubts regarding playing time. For context- she is not a starter.

Hate to burst your bubble but if she isn't a starter whey is she doing DA? DA is good for starters. Can be really cra**y for bench warmers.

Do you expect the team to carry 11 players only?

U-12 Academy games will have unlimited substitutions with re-entry.
3. Substitutions are allowed at any stoppage

These sub rules more than the high school soccer ban will make it tougher for players 8-16 to get any meaningful playing time when playing at showcases. DA coaches still want to win. Not only that, starters get used to how their teammates play. When you start subbing in 2 players here and there, the flow gets out of sync. My guess, if players are not performing great a couple might be pulled at half but watch for most the other dubs get pulled at the end of the game. Same goes with 25% time starts. If you are on the bottom of the roster and start, you'll probably be pulled before the half.

Just ask your coach. It is that simple. Every coach is different and the approach is not the same.

When there's only 1 game/week and you could go weeks without playing a game, guess how you'll do once you finally get PT and are stressed out about doing well? Agree with above - DA is good if you're in the top 16 or so. After that you might want to reconsider other options.
minimsl unless there are injuries.
