Applications are available for the 2016 New Jersey Cup, the 12th edition of US Club Soccer's state championship event for U-10 through U-18/19 boys and girls teams.
Open to all US Club Soccer member teams in the state, the event takes place in March through May 2016. Participation in the New Jersey Cup has increased every year with a record 964 teams taking part in the 2015 tournament.
The 2016 New Jersey Cup begins in March with preliminary games. U-10 and U-11 age groups will play in an 8 vs. 8 format. U-12 teams can play 8 vs. 8 or 11 vs. 11. .
The semifinals and finals will be May 7-8 at Cross Farm Park in Holmdel.
The deadline to apply for the 2016 New Jersey Cup is Feb. 1. A maximum of 64 teams will be accepted in each group.
