Norcross Nike Cup Showcase instead of CASL Shootout

CASL Shootout accepted 175 out of 600 teams at the U15-U19 age groups for girls. That leaves a lot of teams with no tournament play between WAGS and Disney.

The Norcross Nike Cup tournament committee is hard at work to provide a viable alternative for all those teams not accepted into the CASL Shootout. They are expanding the upper age groups to accommodate U17-U19 teams wishing to showcase their skills before an ever-growing list of college coaches. Last year's tournament hosted over 75 college coaches from many DII & DIII schools. Several top club coaches are already working together and assisting us by encouraging college coaches to attend this local event rather than CASL. Early indications are that interest is high with some DI coaches now entertaining the idea of attending the Norcross Nike Cup.

All U19's will play at Pickneyville Park.

No need to make another out of town trip. Get your applications in early. Look for updates to the tournament website in the coming days.

2006 MAPS / MSSL Winter College Showcase for Girls

U15 – U19 GIRLS SHOWCASE: Saturday & Sunday, December 2 & 3, 2006
The WINTER SHOWCASE will be played at Fort Dix, New Jersey, 15 minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike exit 7 or from Interstate 295.
Teams from Canada, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Virginia already have applied.


U15, U16, U17, U18 & U19 Showcase teams may elect to play two days or a single day.

FC Carolina Alliance 88 Red & Lady Twins White 88. Are there other NC teams considering attending the tourn ?
